If you want to use the factory fuel tank sender then use the VDO Fuel Gauge 301 010 015 which suits the factory 73-10 ohms fuel tank sender.
If you wanted to use the factory fuel gauge with a VDO sender in a drop tank then use the VDO adjustable float arm sender 220.004 and reverse the float arm and adjust to 73 – 10 ohms E-F.
